Launching Project "Intentional"

Intentional Living

The Lord Jesus Christ is the perfect example of living intentionally. He was guided and led by purpose. People who live intentionally most often then not, leave behind a legacy. It is our life long obligation to discover purpose,God's purpose for our lives, and intentionally live out the vision we see with our minds. Orison Swett Marden profoundly said,"The man who has learn the art of seeing things looks with his brain". And Napoleon Hill also amplified it and said,"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe,it can achieve". Ofcourse those sound like borrowed words from Proverbs 23:7...."as a man thinketh in his heart,so is he". We are the sum total of our thoughts.

Intentional living allows us to create a mental picture of not just God's intentions for us but the person we want to become, where we want to go,what we want to achieve and the path we want our lives to take. People who refuse or neglect deciding for themselves most likely surrender mental powers to strangers and inevitably loose control of the outcome of who they become. Other people control what they think do or say. We see this epidemically in the youth subculture today. Millions of teens are abusers of drugs because they neglected control of the mental image they possess of themselves. And everything else spirals down. Their lives are altered because they lack the intentional lifestyle that comes from creating a firmament of possibilities which comes from seeing themselves as God intended...to replenish, subdue and multiply.

Naturally we see our limitations and are in fact limited, especially those of us from war torn Sub-Saharan Liberia. However it behooves us to recreate the firmament that we want above us, because "what we think creates".

At Sober Watchman we intentionally put ourselves under the prayer of Apostle John..."Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in good health, even as you souls prosper". Our intentions are predetermined choices. Our choices starts with mental representations of our intentions. Painting those pictures in your mind is the beginning of creating the image. Visualization actualizes.
Today, what are the images we wish to create tomorrow? What mental accentuation have we conceived that could alter our destiny and the people around you?
Remember, "whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve".
"Blessed is he who believes even though he doesn't see".

Sober Watchman Ministries, at the beginning of this year sent out a list of intended projects she wish to bring to fruition so as to strengthen her outreach to young people in Liberia. paramount on that list of images is the construction of the ministries' own office space on her 2 acre plot in Brewerville, westward, outside Monrovia. Currently a former drama team member, who is now an architect is studying the land and wish to emerge with a draft representation of what the ministry intends to construct on the property. Meanwhile the ministry is looking into our entrepreneurial venture through which to generate income for official operations. The complete list of images can be mail to you upon your request.

In the same vein, you can participate in the collection of books,Bibles study resources, office supplies, worship Cds,Drama props, musical instrument, computer, banner, amplifiers and Public Address Systems.
